Welcome to Purple Noon Gallery

Welcome to Purple Noon Art, Sculpture and Framing Gallery. We are situated one hour’s drive north west of Sydney at the foot of the Blue Mountains, half way between historic  Windsor and Kurrajong. The gallery is set on a small acreage looking to the purple hue of the mountains and surrounded by native vegetation and small farms and interesting studios and workshops, and is a member of the well known Hawkesbury Harvest Trail, and recently formed Hawkesbury Artisans Trail. The gallery was opened on 25th November 2006 and has steadily developed into one of the finest galleries in regional NSW and Western Sydney, with regular exhibitions and a permanent collection of both local art and some of the best from further afield.

Regular exhibitions are held at the gallery, mostly theme based, but also group and solo, and have been very well received by the local community.

Purple Noon Gallery has been established recently to house and display artwork and sculpture of the highest quality from the Hawkesbury region, and also from many areas throughout Australia. We strive to present this artwork in an environment that is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. It is our wish that visitors to the gallery have a relaxing, agreeable and visually scintillating experience and feel inspired and motivated to return again. We endeavour to present artists and their work to the public and art community in a promotional and agreeable, comfortable manner where both the artist and the viewer has a positive art experience. We are motivated by the love of art and its stimulation of the senses, its activism, the story it tells, its beauty, and its spiritual presence.
